Progress Action Plans
Partners in SufalNet4EU will each be developing an Action Plan during the next two years, centred around the landfill sites to be transformed in new uses. The Action Plans might be the redevelopment of one or more closed landfillsites including managing environmental risks, involving community acceptance and financing.
A draft structure of the Action Plans is already available for all partners.

Phase 1 identifying and selecting closed landfill sites for redevelopment has resulted in 36 landfill sites. Over 500 hectares will be covered in all Actions Plans together. In most cases these landfill sites will be transformed into recreational, industrial and natural area.
